Fresh, Timeless Interiors with a Collected Feel.
Maryland | Washington, DC | Virginia
Hi, I’m Erin.
I founded Hudson Design after a career in corporate events on Wall Street and in higher education, where I learned how people move through, gather in, and experience a space. I bring that same eye for flow and function to interiors.
I work closely with my clients as a trusted advisor and guide, helping them create homes that feel like them. I love blending classic pieces with eye-catching accents, often starting with what clients already own and building from there.
My approach starts with how a room should function and feel. I focus on foundational pieces in the right proportion, then layer in textiles, lighting, art, and collected details to create a home that feels cohesive, comfortable, and timeless.
I live in Bethesda with my husband, Brian, and our dogs, Henri and Wallace. When I’m not designing, you’ll often find me antiquing. I live for the thrill of the hunt.
One of my favorite things to hear from a client is, “I never could have done this myself, it looks so much better. I can see why people say hiring an interior designer is addicting."
If you have a space you’d like help with, I’d love to hear about it! Tell me about your project on my inquiry page.

“Erin is an A++ designer. My condo has never looked better. For years I wanted to hire a designer to create a fresh, comfortable, and beautiful look. I wasn’t sure what my design preferences were, I just knew that I wanted my rooms to be bright and uplifting.
Conversations with Erin were easy. She is a great listener and has excellent intuition. Along with her experience and expertise, what I most appreciate about Erin is her thoughtfulness. She listens, shares her ideas, and is as excited about your living space as you are.
She loves her work and that spirit of joy and excitement is infectious."
